Welcome to the Mann Aboard blog! We are glad you found us. We are David and Tasha Mann and will be cruising on our 440 Carver, Now or Never, with our spunky, senior, golden retriever, Remy. We are embarking on America’s Great Loop, a 6,000+ mile boat trip circumnavigating the Eastern third of the US and a bit of Canada. Getting ready for America’s Great Loop has been a long time planning. The journey began a few years ago with saying goodbye to our houseboat of 11 years, the Muttley Crew, and purchasing our loop boat, Now or Never. We have spent the last several decades cruising the Ohio River out of our home port of Jeffersonville, Indiana on the Muttley Crew and Now or Never, enjoying every minute of it.

We are just a couple of river rats who grew up on the water including inland lakes, the great lakes, and the Ohio River. We will miss our adventures on the Ohio, but are anxiously awaiting exploring waters unknown and an adventure of a lifetime. Glad to have you along for our journey on the Great Loop!
Thank you to our kids for assisting us, Nick, for creating this site allowing us to share our adventure and painstakingly answering all of Tasha’s questions and responding to requests, and Ryan and Joe for taking care of the home front, allowing us to cruise with no worries.
