* Hertford, NC to the Dismal Swamp * 79 miles – The Albemarle Plantation was a festive stop for America’s birthday. Staying six nights, we enjoyed the holiday activities. Festivities included a boat and golf cart parade, and fireworks show. We joined 300 new friends at the community 4th BBQ.
